How to Get to the WasteECo-2011 Venue

WasteECo-2011 will be held in the Sports Complex of Kharkiv Politechnic Institute (central part of the Kharkiv City); address: Artema str., 50а (Molodeshniy Park). The nearest metro station is Pushkinskaya. Several modern hotels are available in the area.

Transportation:

Metro: You should reach Pushkinskaya station, exit to the left side (Pushkinskaya str., to National Academy of Law). Go past campus “Gigant”, then turn to the left to Sports Complex (through the Molodeshniy park).
By car: from the city center to Artema str. (it has one-way traffic). The reference point is Kyivskiy District Police (in Russian — Militsia). Department should be on your left hand. Sports Complex is located to the right side; a secured parking is just behind the complex.

Kharkiv Metro Plan. Before entering the metro you should buy a token; token is sold in the token sales offices. The price is 1,5 UAH per a token (about 0.15 EURO).

How to get from the airport, central railway station or bus terminal to your hotel

Kharkiv City Airport is located within city boundaries. The nearest metro (underground) station is Prospect Gagarina, which can be reached by bus N 115e or N 119e (please see http://gortransport.kharkov.ua/routes/route.php?route_id=50 and http://gortransport.kharkov.ua/routes/route.php?route_id=51; sorry, in Russian only), or by trolleybus N 5 (http://gortransport.kharkov.ua/routes/route.php?route_id=212).

Taxi cabs are available in the airport. Alternatively, you can call 4-56, 15-02, 15-15, 15-61, 15-73 or 15-88 to arrange radio taxi service. If you need help, you can ask airport’s administrator. His office is located in the waiting room.

Metro (underground) services are the best way to get to the hotel from the central railway station or from the bus terminal. Railway station is located near Pivdenniy Vokzal metro station (in Russian — Yuzhniy Vokzal). The bus terminal is located near Prospect Gagarina metro station.

Optionally, hotels "Aurora" and "Chichikov" offer transfer service from the airport, railway station or bus terminal (additional fee applies).
